So guess what, guess -blam!-ing what I got out of the three nightfalls I ran this week? First drop was, 10 Three of Coins and a strange coin. Number two, oh look, 11 Three of Coins and a strange coin! Now for number 3... you guessed it, 10 f u c k i n g Three of Coins with a strange coin.
Even more editing ( I'm so sorry first forums post lol ): so initially I may have overreacted about my rewards, I will run some strikes and come back with rewards results. Also how many should I use per strike?
Edit: I see that many of you fail to realize that Three of Coins aren't guaranteed drops, so there's that.
Edit again: For those of you saying I'm getting at least 3-5 exotics, I wouldn't count chest engrams for shit, can only get Crests out of them.. which I don't need more of, literally, I've opened at least 7 chest engrams since the beginning of TTK and not one single Alchemists Rainment, -blam!-ing RNG man... also props to you who are getting that titan helm, seems very interesting. I'm still waiting to get my Taikonaut and that.. but will probably never happen.
Some more editing: Maybe the coins aren't that bad at all, whatever other user stated that the engrams will drop 310-330 (thank you).
And for my final rewards from 3 of Coins... drum roll please ..... nothing, not one single exotic engram. So yeah, there you have it folks, I don't know what I did wrong, but I got nothing nonetheless. Thanks for sticking around, now I'm really done with this game.

Edited by ViperStrike32: 10/22/2015 3:58:41 PMI got a 284 chest armor, wish i got coins.
-
292 ghost... U were complaining about something?
-
I got the Arc cloak. On my titan. Lol
-
So? You'd probably throw a fit if you got and exotic too. Or strange coins. Or a legendary. People always complain about nightfall rewards because they want something godlike that doesn't exist. Grow a pair and stop whining.
-
Edited by hagen: 10/22/2015 3:35:36 PM10 3 of coins is like 2 exotics vs the 1 exotic you could've gotten from the nightfall. Seems legit to me. That and with an exotic engram, you can switch it to the character you want it on, and influence it's light level by having all your characters at at least 300 light at the same time. So you get to choose which class exotic you get, you have a greater chance at a 310 light level exotic, and you can get 2-3 per 10 3 of coins. Yet you're bitching.
-
I got a 306 ghost so I'm pretty happy
-
My buddy dropped a 310 choleric dragon last night. Didn't expect that. I've gotten 2 useless ghosts so far
-
Edited by Dr. Bruh, PhD: 10/22/2015 3:43:03 PMI really hope you do end up getting alchemists raiment . It looks badass , and the perks are good. I got lucky and got it from a legendary engram .
-
I got 18 coins, then twenty coins. These nightfall are bullshit. And still everyone gets flair cloaks even the titans and I haven't got one yet. Been farming sense Ttk.
-
I got 3 294 ghost shells. You're lucky actually.
-
I would honestly rather have a bazillion 3 of Coins over anything else. Seriously man you are a whiner.

Steps to recovering from RNG loss. Guardians, keep in mind — all Guardians grieve differently. Some Guardians will wear their emotions on their sleeve and be outwardly emotional. Others will experience their grief more internally, and may not cry. You should try and not judge how a Guardian experiences their grief, as each person will experience it differently. 1. Denial and Isolation The first reaction to learning of not getting what you wish RNG would give you is to deny the reality of the situation. It is a normal reaction to rationalize overwhelming emotions. It is a defense mechanism that buffers the immediate shock. We block out the words and hide from the facts. This is a temporary response that carries us through the first wave of pain. 2. Anger As the masking effects of denial and isolation begin to wear, reality and its pain re-emerge. We are not ready. The intense emotion is deflected from our vulnerable core, redirected and expressed instead as anger. The anger may be aimed at inanimate objects, complete strangers, friends or family or even other Guardians. Anger may be directed at RNG directly. Rationally, we know RNG is not to be blamed. Emotionally, however, we may resent RNG for causing us pain. Remember, grieving is a personal process that has no time limit, nor one “right” way to do it. 3. Bargaining The normal reaction to feelings of helplessness and vulnerability is often a need to regain control– ◾If only we could decode how RNG works ◾If only we could make RNG do what we want ◾If only we had a way to know what RNG would give us ◾If only RNG would not give other people things I want while I am watching Secretly, we may make a deal with God or our higher power. This is a weaker line of defense to protect us from the painful reality. 4. Depression Two types of depression are associated with RNG. The first one is a reaction to practical implications relating to the loss. Sadness and regret predominate this type of depression. This phase may be eased by simple clarification and reassurance. We may need a bit of helpful cooperation and a few kind words. The second type of depression is more subtle and, in a sense, perhaps more private. It is our quiet preparation to separate and to bid our RNG dreams farewell. Sometimes all we really need is a hug. 5. Acceptance Reaching this stage of mourning is a gift not afforded to everyone. An RNG dick punch can be sudden and unexpected and we may never see beyond our anger or denial. It is not necessarily a mark of bravery to resist the inevitable and to deny ourselves the opportunity to make our peace. This phase is marked by withdrawal and calm. This is not a period of happiness and must be distinguished from depression. Coping with RNG loss is ultimately a deeply personal and singular experience — nobody can help you go through it more easily or understand all the emotions that you’re going through. But others can be there for you and help comfort you through this process. The best thing you can do is to allow yourself to feel the grief as it comes over you. Resisting it only will prolong the natural process of healing

Meh youll need the engrams again do to the fact they're making defense values higher on exotics from 310 to 330
-
keep trying
-
Out of all them 3 of coins u will get better gear then nightfall will drop so why you complaining
-
Stop bitching lol. It's rng. What u want an exotic or 310 every time!? Nightfalls have always been up and down, I don't get why people decide to bitch about it now.
-
wait we can do nightfall more than once now?
-
That's basically 3 exotics , stop whining you little biiitch.
-
291 conspiracy theory, 295 vanguard ghost and 1 strange coin...I got better rewards on the heroic strikes today then nf :(
-
Hey that's a lot of "potential" exotics. You should be thankful.
-
308 ghost and 305 machine gun and 300 helm for me. Ghost to my dead orbit ghost and gun to my other swords. NF is just fine for me. I wouldn't complain for 30+ TOC either. Very useful
-
310 Suros regime :)
-
Edited by Amadis001: 10/22/2015 2:59:06 PM306 shell, 310 Hereafter, 298 boots-- no complaints from me!
-
I agree. Three runs last night and I got bullshit each time. They really killed nightfall in year two.
-
The lowest drop rate for the 3oC I've seen has been 1 out of 5... so I would look at it that I basically got 2 exotics from 1 NF.
-
I've got the same 289 cloak on each drop. The nightfall rewards used to be good..... Now it's a joke like the new RNG. I'm ready for Black Ops Zombies and Halo 5. That way I'll have something to do when bored because this game has become garbage.
