WTF?!?! They totally F'ed up all the Trials weapons acquired at the Lighthouse! I checked destinydb about a month ago and they all had the same stats as the year 1 versions - high impact and slow firerate on the only two types worth getting - Scout Rifle (Inward Lamp/The Scholar) and Pulse Rifle (Reflection Sum/The Messenger).
Now they are all crap. Add in the choice to completely remove an elemental damage and Trials isn't even worth doing. Way to go Bungie - you've made Trials harder to get to the Lighthouse and you've made the rewards 10x worse than they used to be.
I loved my The Scholar (Adept) - killed Skolas over 20 times with it, but now the Inward Lamp is just junk. As someone who went to the Lighthouse over 30 times in year 1, I won't be playing a single game of Trials in Year 2. The only reason to do Trials was the loot. It had the best Scout Rifle and Pulse Rifle in the game as well as the best armor in the game. Now in year 2 the armor has been nerfed to junk and the only weapons in the game I liked have now also been nerfed to junk.
The only thing that's kept me going through TTK is the thought of a year 2 Scholar coming soon. I can't believe you've done this! Why do you keep wrecking the best parts of your game?
Dumb, just dumb Bungie! The only thing that would make this forgivable would be to allow infusion on year 1 Trials weapons.
