Nightfall increases drop rate for Psion Flayers cloak!
First off, don't ask for evidence. If you're desperate, I have a clip of me getting the void cloak somewhere. Now I don't have any real stats supporting my claim, but from me personally, I have spent 48 hours itself grinding all versions of the dust palace strike. On my second time running the nightfall, I was rewarded the void cloak. All my friends who were grinding strikes as well also got their preferred cloak from the nightfall. Go give it a try, grind it a couple of times, and let me know. It worked for me!
Edit 1: We're trending! Woohoo! Thanks for all the likes and reply's guys. By the comments, I can safely say that the drop rate is dramatically increased.

Edit 3: I spent 1 hour grinding this strike, and I now have all 3 cloaks. This works! Trust me

Yes. And no. They removed random drops from nightfall bosses. They can either drop their strike specific stuff or nothing. So it's 50/50 chance now. Flip a coin long enough you'll get tales

I got 2 solar ones back to back nightfalls so I'm sure it has a increased drop rate since I helped a friend do it today and he got a void one

I just got a 299 Void. I have Solar on right now, which I've had for a bit. Both dropped on my Warlock. Just need the Arc one now.

I got the cloak first time after the Nightfall patch (during the new Nightfall believe it or not). Coincidence? I think not.

Got the arc and void ones back to back today. Probably ran the strike 10 to 15 times since ttk release only got the solar during those runs.

1 ReplyRight... The Nightfall patch made it so that your "preferred cloak" would drop for you. This is the very definition of confirmation bias.

I think they increase the drops from night fall perfectly.
