As you may know, Kotaku recently released an article covering Destiny's original story. In the article they described a "supercut", which was basically all the cutscenes from Destiny's original story put together into one big film. They also talked about cut content, and how locations such as The Dreadnaught were actually supposed to be in the base game.
I'm curious about this, and really want to see that supercut. Only if we get to see it, we can decide if Bungie made the right choice in rewriting Destiny.

The original supercut probably does exist online but it's probably in the deep web, i'm not recommending you to search there but there's a reasonable chance (that if it exists) you'd find it.

I would like to as well. This article confirms that DeeJ was lying and covering up the rumor that Destiny was redone pre launch

Destiny story first draft...

Did you know this is an old story and they are just trying to drum up readers and supporters because people like destiny again since TTK so its easy to bash something and everyone jumps on the band wagon.
-
They could still be using the ideas for future expansions or even the next big Destiny game. I don't think they woulda thrown out the ideas all together, so it's very unlikely that you'll see the supercut

They probably just realized that if they released all of that content in the base game they couldn't charge everyone for it later
