I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

Seem like good rewards to me. It's RNG and they are more in line with what Nightfalls used to be. It is easy loot. What would be nice is the experience boost and/or the faction rep boost. What you want is a guaranteed 310 exotic or weapon right? There would be no point to continue playing if you get all the stuff within 3-4 weeks. Coins are good now because you can;t get them in the heroics and you can use them to but 3oC, which is like a 15-20% chance of exotic, far and away better than an exotic chance otherwise.
