I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

Increase attack/defense by 10? How's that going to be better? Increase amount of 3oC and SC? Srsly??? Add ghost shells and remove antiquated runes from loot tables? Hahaha, yeah that will solve all the problems!! What should happen is, get one guaranteed exotic in one of 2 end-game reward slots and 3oC, SC, MoL in second slot. This "reward increase" is a ridiculous joke...
