Because when a girl is gaming people treat her differently and she has actual struggles in how she's viewed by other gamers. There would be just hammers if people would treat women like they were any other gamer.

  • It doesn't matter how you feel because others still view you differently. When I play I don't feel like a girl gamer, just a gamer, but when I'm signaled out for being a girl that's what I am, not one of the others but being put apart from them because of my gender. I want to just be a gamer but I don't get to be treated like a gamer because of my gender. Some people will treat you just like any other gamer but as long as some people don't if you ever talk openly on a mic in a multyplayer or join a party with some randoms and maybe a couple of your friends you're likely to be the girl gamer to them and they aren't guaranteed to treat you the same.
