Bungie is operating a casino at this point. They have their loyal Destiny addicts ("fans") who will continue throwing money at the screen no matter what.
The allure of discovering new gear hidden behind time-locked quests is too irresistible for much of the Destiny community to ignore.
Me personally, I have the Spindle, Sleeper, and No Time TE. They are cool weapons I guess. But cool weapons are not enough to make up for what Bungie has done. Their reputation is completely trashed. At least for me it is. I can say with a straight face that I will never buy another Bungie (or Activision for that matter) game again.
This was my first Bungie purchase by the way.

Go play the Halo games since this is your first Bungie game. The first one was considered revolutionary for console shooters and I would recommend for years on. If you don't have an Xbox console it is also the only halo that was available for PC and since it came out about 15 years ago I would hope your computer is capable of playing it.

I played it but never actually purchased it. I was always a cod fan (Activision again).

Yep, my first Bungie purchase as well. I never played Halo for more than a few minutes, it just never interested me (which is weird since I am HUGE into Sci-Fi and FPS games/genre especially when mashed together). That said, what has happened here almost puts Bungie in the same place as Gearbox for me. Gearbox literally committed fraud with SEGA's money and at the same time pissed off one of the largest and most fanatical Sci-Fi fan bases out there (us Alien universe fans) with Aliens: Colonial Marines. I will never support Gearbox or their comic book colored bullshit Borderfap games. I still play Destiny a lot, too much really. But I'm noticing myself play less and just being fundamentally upset with the whole thing at times. Never doubt the power of communication. It can be the means to success or failure for much in personal and professional life. Bungie has failed at communicating on so many levels and is the root problem with a lot of this IMO.
