I think most of them are kinda upset since its pretty hard from (PoV of a boy) to find girls to play with cause theyre still kinda rare.
And especially if they get excluded in addition it would make it even harder.
And before someone accuse me of being a sexist, i wont deny there arent alot of boys which mainly would like to play with girls cause of this fact, but there are also plenty of boys (including me btw) who rather would enjoy playing with a girl since theyre more straightforward and not that much into "goin-for-progress/success"
and dont we play this game cause of fun?
nevertheless keep going :)

The ratio of boy to girl isn't even close. Clans like this help with that though. One of the main reasons (To my knowledge.) that some girls end up quitting is because of the behavior of some of the boys they encounter. As even us boys know, guys online can be pretty rude and thoughtless. They say things without thinking just to get a laugh and more often than not its at the expense of someone else. Usually when a girl is present they become targets for these people much like how everyone likes to pick on kids. The point being, these kinds of clans offer a sort of safe haven away from that mess. This doesn't mean they won't be your friend though.

I really do exactly know what you mean and i do have the same opinion about it especially since most of the boys (in the internet even worse) trying to distinguish themselves by telling rude things about the "female" target in front of their buddies, which just shows they dont have and never got taught any respect. And this group / clan is more likely to give them a chance to avoid those situations But what i was about to say is that you shouldnt exclude boys completly but maybe give some of them a chance (you should check them out before ofc) since e.g. in my opinion i do prefer playing with girls since i feel mostly the same way about those unrespectful situations while playing with most boys I hope you got my point :)

We do give them a chance they are on our friends lists and are our brothers friends husbands and children. But they are not allowed into our clan.

Edited by LanaDelRey: 10/22/2015 12:04:25 AMLetting those in who identify as male would create a slippery slope where the original purpose of the clan becomes diminished. Even if a person is "checked out" prior to allowing him in there are just some gamers out there that feel uncomfortable with a male present. This could also potentially cause internal problems for those members who joined when only people who identify as female were let in. What people have to understand is that this isn't the only clan around. There are hundreds more out there for you and others to choose from that don't require you to identify as female. Find one that suits you and your preferences. So don't take it personally. It isn't a judgement of your character or anything, this clan just isn't for you.

Thank you!You hit the nail right on the head here. It's not that we hate boys, this just isn't the place for them.Allowing boys into the clan at this point would make some of the girls feel cheated. It'd be a bait and switch recruitment tactic. They know what this clan is and they joined it because they agreed with the rules. It'd be unfair to all of our clan members to go changing them in such a drastic way.
Not that we've ever seriously considered changing our requirements. If we did,we wouldn't be Sisterhood of Guardians anymore.
No problem. I love what your clan stands for so I'm glad I got it right. I probably shouldn't be answering for you gals though. I might be wrong next time. :P
You would totally keep the name! It would be like joining The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants! Except instead of jeans it would be the group that fits perfectly. :P
It sounds like you're assuming that just because someone is a member of this group, they don't have male friends or won't play with male players. While there may be some folks that feel that way, it's certainly not a requirement of our group and many of us do have great male gaming friends. That doesn't lessen the value of this type of safe space, however.
