Are you kidding? I think its awesome, screw the year one way of turning up every week to run you nightfalls/raids hoping you might get one of the exotics you needed and then walking away depressed when you got strange coins, a legendary heavy weapon and an exotic you already had. I think all these little surprise quests are brilliant, the excitement when people figure them out, rushing to get stuff done making me want to explore every extra corridor in every daily just in case. I guess it depends whether you love back story, lore etc ads well or just want your guns handed over to you in a boring linear fashion.
