Lol @ complaining about them giving us new quests and exotics to uncover. If you want everything day 1, go play a pay to win mmo and spend your cash
English
-
Not that you could get everything in one day... But the more they release these time-gated quests the more everyone is seeing that these quests are kinda a joke in some cases.
-
Well I hope all the people who cry about being given new items or things to do, leave to play something else soon. I've never seen a group like destiny players. Cry about everything under the sun. Nothing bungie does ever satisfies them yet they still spend thousands of hours playing. Yeah these missions aren't 100 hours worth of content but good lord who cares. Even if its 20 minutes, its 20 min of fun and enjoyment for people who enjoy playing and experiencing the game, lore, and discovering new items. Sure beats the hell out of praying for rng to give you a drop for 6 months. If you dont like it, dont play it
-
I see wherefore coming from but consider their method. When you hype something the way they have with TTK people will expect more. Having a mission/quest just pop up because "it's now available" is a poor deliver method.
-
Can't you read? I'm not complaining, I am however, agreeing that people deserve what they paid for in their own time. Can't see the woods for the Bungie dick in your face. Idiot.
-
If I buy a book, I don't read it then have to wait a week for the last chapter. I bought the whole book, I should be able to read it in my own time.
-
Edited by Chit Chat: 10/21/2015 8:49:53 AM.... really? You went with a book for your argument? Lol. A more appropriate analogy would be to complain you bought a book, but didn't get the whole story and are now forced to buy the next book if you want to find out what happens. But now it's just becoming a really weird argument to make.
-
Dont buy this book then? They're giving us new things to keep people playing and engaged rather than mindless farming and then boredum. If you dont like it, go play something else. Seriously what else would you be doing if you had everything week 1 or 2? Youd be bored and logging on once a week for resets if that. You guys are fracking dumb for complaining about having new content on a regular basis
-
New content on a regular basis? You sound like an idiot. The mission was 20 minutes long and had you wait a week to even get the rewards. Yea that's new content on a regular basis! A 20 minute mission really changed the game it's so much better now, I can't wait for the next 20 minute mission next month!
-
Well I'm sorry it didn't satisfy your needs. 20 minutes is a decent amount of time to people with lives outside of destiny. Sounds like youre to the point of being bored already... Maybe you shouldn't have gotten everything on day 1... Lol what's next are you going to complain hard mode wasn't available day one? Its a cool little side mission that nets you an exotic. Beats the hell out of waiting for rng gods for 6 months doesn't it?
-
How did I know that you were an xbox player before even checking? And you're terrible at the game too? My mute list is almost full because of autistic kids like you. This games content doesn't last long when you're good at the game, thats something you don't know about. Bye Felicia.
-
Don't buy this book? Are you fully retarded? I already bought it, clearly.
-
Well then deal with their content schedule. If you dont agree with it, simply play something else. You dont make the rules for when things are released. Youre crying about not being able to no life everything in a week which will just lead to you being bored and crying about having nothing to do. Grow up
-
They're not giving us new things, they're giving us recycled content. Is VOG new? Even if it was, we paid for it already. Everyone deserves what they paid for, and to have access to it in their own time.
-
It is too a new thing. Yeah it may take place in vog but its a whole new questline with new items and areas. If you don't like having to simply wait for things, dont play. Jesus Christ stop complaining. People didnt cry about not having the black spindle on day one. Grow the hell up and play the game youre given to pls. If you dont like what bungie does, go play something else. You dont need every item in the game day 1. You people sound like 3 year olds stomping your feet and screaming "I want it now!"
-
this^
-
When did I say that? You're jumping to conclusions there, aren't you. I'm not complaining. Had you read any of my other posts, you would have seen that. I don't care. I have more important things to worry about, when I get an imaginary gun is irrelevant to me. That's not how some people feel though. Agreeing isn't complaining, but it must be hard to see that
with Bungies dick in your eyes. Prick.
-
You may not care but look at the mass amounts of people actually upset bungie gives them new shit to do occasionally. How pathetic do you have to be to complain about being given something. You may not be one of them and that's great. Players dont get to tell developers what were entitled to. We pay them for the games they make and the content they give us when they deem it ready. Its as simple as that. If you don't agree, which anyone is entitled to their opinions, there's an eject button on all of our consoles. Simply take the game out and play something else
-
See, the weak link in your argument is, this is an entirely different form of media. If you wanna get 500 plus hours reading the same book over and over , have at it.
-
Irrelevant. Everyone deserves what they pay for.
-
You didnt pay for this content. It wasn't available day 1 therefore it wasn't part of what you purchased. This is something bungie set aside to reward players for playing and exploring.
-
Sure, in a perfect world; but the fact is the Destiny a game developed to make people addicted to the grind and this is how it's gonna be. Complaining about time gates in a game like this is quite irrelevant.
-
What other game has time gates? I've been gaming for 30 years and I've never seen it.
-
Every game has time gated content. Any game you buy nowadays comes with dlc you pay for later on included right on the very disc. Its simply not accessible until the developer deems it is. Any mmo has new content they release at certain times. Paid or otherwise. If they released everything on day one, they'd have no playerbase within a month because everyone would be done and bored. Any mmo out there wow, eso, swtor, etc all come with patches that unlock content at specific times. Its done for a reason and it keeps people playing. This is nothing new to gaming.
-
That's not time gated, that's disc locked. Time gated is being made to wait for something you've already paid for. Disc locked is content to be sold to you at a later date. Don't get confused.
-
Things change man. I'm not saying that I agree but video games are on a totally different level than what they used to be and the makers of the games are finding new ways to keep up playing/paying for more. Time gates are just a part of change. It sucks having to wait a week or two for something but it'll come and it gives us something to look forward to. I don't hate it....
