Even though I got the ghosts yesterday for No Time to Explain and didn't get the quest, I'd rather wait knowing the quest is coming next Tuesday OR when paradox is the daily again. It's better than year 1 RNG. Why? One cruel example is that I never got hawkmoon until the week before TTK dropped. I literally played every event that could give an exotic for almost an entire year. I had to go through multiple months seeing my friends enjoy their hawkmoons. I'm still waiting on Supercell to drop. It might come from a three of coins drop today or it might come through xur in X amount of weeks (could be Friday, could be May of 2016), or through a nightfall or Raid. Which (like my hawkmoon) could also take entire months to go by before it happens.
