I don't get why people watch anime. Can you explain it to me? If bungie made any of this a emote I would sell my disc. Actually I would break it so nobody else would have to look at that crap

I don't what is honestly so appealing about anime. Maybe it speaks to the child in us. Maybe it's because some of them are just ridiculous and hilarious or totally awesome (those panty flashes though...) Or maybe it's not about the animation. Some have unbelievable stories. Some certain stories are way better as anime. But honestly it's physiological. We view things with big eyes as cute. Children have big eyes. Some animals do. And so do a ton of anime girls. Some are cute (most are actually) and some are down right sexy. You don't have to like anime but don't hate. And in reality it's just a form of animation. Not everyone who watches anime is some creeper or a guy with life size picture pillows. My best buddy, who actually just shipped off as a fully fledged Marine, is diehard for anime. He goes the whole way. He has a Waifu and yes, he also watches hentai but is proud of it because he sticks to only vanilla. He introduced me to anime and I'm not diehard but it's a fun, cute thing to watch now and again. I actually recommend because it just takes a burden off your shoulders. Just don't hate and you'll find that life is easier.

You see, I hate many things and I dislike even more. Anime is something I watched as a kid. As I kid I thought real movies with real actors were stupid but as a grew older I saw that I needed to grow up from cartoons. Hell I even stopped watching family guy and that was my FAVORITE show. Anime are for people who needs to grow up. Now this is just me defending my opinion its nothing to get butthurt about

Now, I think that's incorrect. I think it's good to be a kid sometimes. You have a misconception that if we are a kid in that particular instance we are a kid always. But that's not the case. You can be serious or goofy. Sometimes it's fun to act like an idiot. Trying to tell me that it's "immature" to be slammed on whiskey, in a kilt, and swinging around a broadsword as my friends cheer me on and the bartender is calling 911 is redundant. Because it's FUN. Does that mean 2 days later when I'm at my DEP meeting that I act the same way? No. I'm courteous and professional. I'm rigid and I follow the rules to the MARK. You have to learn that no matter what you do, there will different parts of your life. If I was always rigid and acting like a good soldier then I'd be a buzzkill. I'd be shallow. Boring. If I was always insane, drunk, and in a kilt I'd be in prison. I would be homeless and no one could take me seriously. And what about how you act around your family? Or your gf/wife? We change and we adapt. Anime isn't about staying a kid. It's about being a kid for 30 minutes. Enjoying yourself. Relaxing and having a good laugh. I don't want to be an adult 24/7. I be an adult when the time is right. I still volunteer at the fair or wherever and I still have a job. I'm actually single because I'm shipping out on Jan. 26. No dependents! Just don't try to say that I'm an immature person because I don't believe I am. I still make my family and friends proud and I still do my duty as a civilian, Airman, and as a son. Remember. This is the only life you get. There's no next one and there's no reset (different discussion). Just have fun while you can. Share a drink with your buddies. Wear a kilt. Mug someone over a hat (buddy did it once. HILARIOUS). Be a kid. Then do your day job. Finish the frame by 2. Go to the DEP meeting and teach your flight to march. Do PT in the morning. Eat right. Be an adult. I'm enjoying my life so far. I have a bright future serving my country and a life that I can honestly look forward to because I learned to basically juggle multiple personalities.

Ok let me get this straight. Your saying you like living life and acting like a child right? And then you said you liked getting drunk. I'm pretty sure you know where I'm going with this. Acting like a child and having fun are two different things. When you think of a child what do you see? I'm pretty sure you just don't see a kid watching cartoons. Now kids/children do not understand the meaning of right and wrong. As an adult you should. Now if I see an adult acting like a child then to me that defines immaturity. I have friends that watch anime and I asked them why do you watch it, its for kids. I watched cartoon when I was a kid. And none of them was able to answer my question. I'm not saying people who watch it are a disgrace I mean everyone is entitled to a opinion

Lol, looks like you would be collecting your own tears then!
