You have ten chances for an exotic.
The Nightfall only has one.
So basically you got 11 chances at an exotic from one NF.
That is nothing to be upset about.

Think about that though...you would only use about two 3oC's tops in a nightfall. You don't really have any more opportunity than that. Unless you wanna just possibly waste all your coins....doesn't make much sense.

You use your coins wrong. Use one every time you are about to kill an Ultra, like in a strike, and you will have a good chance. Just one. Then wait 5-10 mins, or do another strike, pop another before boss. Also, ONE three of coins can drop TWO exotic engrams.

I had my first ever two-in-a-row Friday. Zhalo Supercell and some gauntlets. 3oC have been good to me lately. Week before that was the Jade Rabbit. (I'm hoping Bad Juju next.)

I loooove the Bad Juju. It is so good for regular strike grinding. You will get your super left and right before your teammates even get their first one, assuming they don't pick up your orbs you drop.

Zhalo works almost as well, seemingly, as long as you're fighting trash mobs of low-level enemies that you can string double-kills together on. I watched my super bar climb and climb as I used it. Plus, it has that arc burn going for it. They're different flavors, with different advantages. (I love my auto rifles, for one thing.)

It is really badass. I hope they make more weapons like that with burns as well.
