I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

Increase attack/defense by 10? How's that going to be better? Increase amount of 3oC and SC? Srsly??? Add ghost shells and remove antiquated runes from loot tables? Hahaha, yeah that will solve all the problems!! What should happen is, get one guaranteed exotic in one of 2 end-game reward slots and 3oC, SC, MoL in second slot. This "reward increase" is a ridiculous joke...

I got two higher level ghosts and an exotic. I am content with their rewards changes.

I got a 305 ghost and 12 three of coins. Both good drops. Three of coins is a good drop that 1-2 exotics and who knows what else while you are using them. It's equivalent to 14 strange coins which is also not a bad drop.

2 RepliesI got a 300 light rare secondary, a 295 ghost shell, and a legendary engram. Plus, the Nightfall wasn't maddeningly difficult. I call this a win.

I'm starting to think that even 200 weapon parts can be a MAJOR improvement compared to some of the drops I got lately. I say make it harder but give some guaranteed drops from it.

Ran it twice last night. FWC Legendary HC with terrible perks - dismantled 18 strange coins. HOWEVER, I did get a firefly Treads Upon Stars so I am happy with that. It is sad my best reward was a strike reward that I can get any time on Heroic, yet my Nightfall rewards were terrible and no better than decoding engrams and leveling up factions/vanguard ranks and turning in bounties...

Lol idk why you guys are all getting so mad and nightfall is no longer as much of a challenge as it used to be so I don't expect to get better words I've seen drops over 300 now from the nightfall that were legendary so I'm just as happy with that. Stop complaining

I cant complain too much. Yeah first run i got 10 3ofCoins but 2nd run I got a 309 helmet for my 297 warlock. Thanks Bumgie

2 RepliesWhat were you expecting? I don't mean that to have a go at bungie but legitimately what rewards were you expecting? So far I've seen a vast improvement, maybe not for the small minority of players over the 305ish mark but for the bulk of players.

I enjoyed the improvements got 310 ghost and 310 telesto and toc and got all three hunter flyer drops so it was a good week for me but I've always had good rewards guess I'm lucky to bad I can't get that luck in the raid lol

Played last night and did the nightfall. I got a 292 helmet which is useless, another got a thunder lord ( duplicate... So much for less chance of dups), and the guy that joined at the end to kill the boss got a 307 hunter cloak...like blam that!
