I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

1 ReplyI got two vanguard ghost shells in a row so...yeah. The first nightfall we did all three on the team got the same ghost shell. It liked me so much I got another one the second time. No exotics this week for me.

Better reward that the strange coins you can get or the legendaries. 10x 3 of coins can potentially get you 10 exotics. (Realistically more like 2-3) which if we go by xur prices is between 28-69 strange coins for just the 2-3. Stop crying.

So about two exotics? What's wrong with that? This is why Bungie had to reduce the number of strange coin drops because people now don't appreciate their value.

Tons of people have reported getting 300+ light drops, you got unlucky (in your eyes) one time, get over it. It's like it's the first time you've played this game.

Considering that most people report 1 exotic drop in every ten coins used, getting ANY exotic instead of ten coins is a better reward as you don't have to waste the time/effort using them to get what you should have gotten to begin with.

I got a 310 invective and then a 303 chest for my Warlock. It was an incredibly easy week for nightfall and I feel pretty happy with the rewards vs. effort.

10 three of coins is not a bad drop to be honest. That's ten chances at an exotic while doing something that you may possible need, taking out two birds with one stone. That can translate to 14 strange coins, which is an exotic gear piece from Xur. Unless you are actually expecting an exotic gear piece everytime you run a Nightfall... Which is even more silly considering how easy this particular one is.

I did 3 so far. 291 ghost 18 strange coins 20 strange coins Have one more nf and two more crucible nf. The coins aren't bad because I can just buy more 3oc, but for the love of God give me a damn supercell.
