I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

1 ReplyIf reputation gains still aren't included, then Nightfalls are still garbage... At least in year one you were guaranteed something of use from the nightfall (XP buff)... Now it's nothing more than a slot machine where you may do it for something that you don't need... That's the last one for me until you are guaranteed something of use... On the bright side... 6 days until Halo 5...

6 RepliesEveryone expects to much from nightfalls They are so much easier now so why should the rewards be greater What they should do is bring back the nightfall modifier increase the required light lvl to at least 310 And bring back the flaming head The only good thing about nightfalls is having a chance of a exotic or getting coins Remember only a Chance not certain

Raid's shit too. 40 moldering shards (20 each time) and I've gotten one 304 gun from oryx. Buddy has never had more than 11 moldering shards and he's had 4 guns from oryx

My wife and I have each had one legendary drop since TTK came out... And their adding class items and ghosts to the drop table... Come on... Nightfalls still suck... Maybe they suck a little less now, but comparatively speaking, if you're looking to advance your character, they are still a waste of time.
