Spare Change.25?
So I just got the Spare Change to drop for me in the Crucible and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to try it post TTK? Mine has pretty awesome rolls (check it out it's on my titan) and was wondering if the nerf to high impact low RoF pulse rifles was significant enough to make this not such a good gun anymore? I have Nirwens Mercy and love that a lot but the Spare Change I got looks good. Plus I never got to try it pre TTK (never could get the damn thing to drop)
TL;DR Spare Change still viable in crucible or no?
Edit: Okay so I've only played two games with it maxed out so far and I've gotta say I'm loving it. It took me a minute to adjust for the recoil (i've been using Nirwens Mercy since I got it, thing has no recoil) but it does 2 burst to the head kill. Thanks for all the replies and feedback guys I think I found my next IB weapon haha

1 ReplyHonestly, if it didn't have that left kick, I'd choose spare change over other pulses. Once I find one with counterbalance I think it'll be my go to for a while.

1 ReplyAs long as it has Counterbalance and a stability perk, it's alright, but other than that, the recoil on it is horrendous and makes it rather difficult to use. Kicks up and to the left, hard.

It's my best weapon. Counterbalance, braced frame, third eye. If you don't miss your shots, i can't think of anything that kills faster.

5 RepliesI have one and i wouldn't change it with no other weapon, as u long u have a good stability that gun is a beast on medium to long range, nirwens pulse rifle is for peasants lol,

It's still my go to weapon in Crucible. Got one with two stability perks, and it beats my Suros PDX-41 (Nirwens vendor cousing) with perfect stability any day. Two or "one and half" head shot does the trick.

I have it, but I got an awesome handcannon I've been using in combo with my side arm instead.

Yes, spare change packs a punch. Not as stable as other pulse but puts out great dps in return.

It will easily defeat one to one any hawksaw, smite of merain, villany, etc even the red-dead

It's good and yes viable on crucible depending on the perks. I had one that I was using until I got to rank 5 but fire rate is too slow, but still very good IMO.

It is good if you have a perk to stabalize recoil you can easily get a 2 burst kill in PvP

I got one that dropped with the same perks as nirwen mercy saladin was selling, i ised it all through iron banner and wrecked

That's a solid roll. Max stability and third eye. The damage alone means you don't need any of the damage perks so you're fine there. Try it out when it's maxed and let us now how you like it.
