Corporations want you to use new and improved products. Why do car manufacturers make new models year in and year out. It's their way of making more cheddar and growing their business. Now we come to games and virtual worlds where all your doing is moving your thumbs and fingers to manipulate the pixels you see on a screen. I think the game manufactures are in new uncharted waters. I hope they're learning that the consumers still like the muscle cars from the seventies and don't want the new computer chip self driving solar cars. That being said I'm not sure they knew people would grow so attached to a virtual weapons. Maybe they just think anybody who grows attached to something that is not real deserves to be yanked around and told what to do, what to use, and where to go. At the end of the day I still think it's just like the first pong games... We move our thumbs and fingers nothing has changed but our eyes perception. I wouldn't let it bother you to much. "They" may try and take advantage ;)
