Yeah, I love the game despite the flaws that are quite obvious.
The Destiny universe has so much potential in story and content.
Just reading random fan-made anecdotes make me excited to play the game, but c'mon when we were told to forge our own destiny I hadn't thought leaving the game story-less and just imagining what story we could make.
I would love for the game to be truly open-world. With proximity chat so when you walk up to another guardian you didn't see his GT or PSN. Nothing, just the Guardian. You tell of your exploits and missions. You forge bonds and fire teams in the wild.
Well if your not going to give us a story; don't give us part of one to go off of. Don't give us any. Just give us content and an open world. With everything happening in real-time. Real enemies that have exclusive exotics or legendaries that once killed can't be farmed again....they're gone. Continually update the game with new enemies and weapons and armor and -blam!- the balancing. And since you're already doing it -blam!- the story and let us create it. Just give us the tools.
Let us truly become legend. Not the legend you designed, and don't tell us that's not how you designed it to be played. We're playing as soulless guardians finding their way, but we aren't a shell. Give me my game.
Lol rant concluded.
