If you die, Oryx takes your guardian. The abilities of the taken guardian depend on your subclass. Voidwalkers throw vortexes and balls of energy, strikers hop around like the shield brother and rapid punch you, gunslingers rapid fire snipe you, bladedancers run around and charge at you rapier-style, defenders spawn maze-like cover, sunsingers revive dead ads, stormcallers summon thunder like it's their subclass quest, nightstalkers lurk on ledges and in corners and drain your ammo and energy, and sunbreakers have infinite sunspot hammer of sol. Good idea right?
