My kids go to bed at 9pm, my 18 year old goes to bed at 11. They wash dishes after meals, take out trash, do laundry, get good grades. And every day when the studying is done and homework as well, they can play games or watch tv or whatever within reason until bedtime. And you know what they call me? Daddy. Because I set rules, enforce them, and show the rewards for when they do. So, turn off your Xbox and go the hell to bed, focus on school, grades, and work. Then you can set time aside for video games and things that have no real impact on life at all.

  • See, thats what I'm trying to point out tho, you let your child play during the weekends given that he has done all his responsibilities, I don't have that option, I only insulted you cuz you called me a turd. It really shows how much of an adult you really are

  • You can call me a child when you make my order at McDonald's while I go through the drive through in my Mercedes. Just listen to your parents, wait until you're all grown up, and then you can make a schedule that lets you play video games on your own time. Then again, you'll have to pay for monthly Internet, electricity, rent, car insurance, Xbox or playstation plus, batteries, food, gas for a vehicle, etc. All I'm saying is that video games are not that big of a deal in the world. They have been around for a long time, and won't go anywhere anytime soon. Focus on what matters kiddo.

Lol drive through in your Mercedes. You could have left that part out and it would have been all good advice and rather insightful. But instead you open with "You can call me a child when you are making my meals at McDonalds while I'm sitting in Mercedes" seriously I think I threw up in my mouth. The kid is right. You are a -blam!-ing terd

  • Actually, that's your parents job to make you realize what's important. Oh well, you're just doomed.
