I'm a senior with decent grades, I was brought up playing video games starting with the Nintendo 64, my mom knows i love to play video games, yet whenever I want to play she's always restricting me to an hour (normally i ignore the fact that she just gave me an hour & play till she says no more; since I consider it inhuman, sometimes I get lucky with 2-3 hours. & this is on weekends only) cuz as I said previously i cant ever play on the weekdays. I heard of all ppl playing for longer & for each day, do u think i should leave the house & become like squidward & ask for "spare change" & move out of the house. Their house, their rules. That being said, when I was a young buck I got punished many times while living at home. Granted I wasn't the easiest child and did many things I probably shouldn't have. But remember when they ground you they do it cause they are trying to help. Although, I have a question. If you're a senior why the hell do you even have a bed time? Telling you to be home by midnight or one I get, but if you're why do they care when you sleep?

Its tough. I am 19 years old in college and im not in good terms with my stepmom. Only recently I was able to stay for as long as I want after a big ass fight with her where she ended up crying. But at any moment she can take em away just cuz she owns the house and blah blah blah. To answer your question. No it wasn't worth it. Maybe at the moment yes but afterwards I bet you wished not to have done anything like that. Grounding you is not the answer. For me it only backfired since I was getting her more pissed off cuz of revenge. Having strict shit parents is a bitch no matter what they do for you.
