How to Always Find Players for Court of Oryx

I've tried this many times. Not just walking slow but actually barely moving and stopping a few times in the tunnel. It's still empty for me 98% of the time.

Can anyone confirm if this works? I always thought it weird that what should be one of the most popular areas of the game purely because of calcium frags is nearly always empty
