Because it stacks enough that it guarantees an exotic that's how I have shit luck as well

It's not working for me for some reason, I went through the story and the raid with no exotics, I'm stumped as to why and how it's supposed to stack.

Every time it fails to give an exotic it increases the drop percentage chance

Not at all. I haven't had a drop in months. It's frustrating, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I did the strike playlist today, 15-20 strikes on medium, and a couple on hard, still no exotics, I'm using 3 of Coins in the beginning of the strike too. Do they not drop in those strikes? Is there a better place other than the raid to get them?

I've gotten all my Exotics in lvl 20 Vanguard playlist or loading lvl 20 strikes directly from the map.

It worked!!!! Ha!!!!!!! I just did The Shield Brothers Strike from the map, not the playlist, and got an exotic helmet engram! I used TOC before the mission and got it when the first brother fell! Thank you!

Thanks , I usually go to the Strike playlist, I'll try doing a strike out if one of the maps, maybe one onThe Dreadnaught.

Same. If not for the 3 of Coins I'd have no new exotics.

You know I miss the days where you didn't say something like that to someone without backing it up.

Right now, the only exotics I get are from quests, or unlocking year two versions of things I already have. If like to know what strikes you need to do in order to get exotic drops.
