Lore-Wise, why we can't equip more than one exotic at the same time?

Some, if not most exotics, contain darkness. The Ahamkarah gear is one such example. Red and other such weapons are actually evil. This could be why. However there are some non evil exotics such as Gjalihorn, Super Good Advice, the Creat of Alpha Lupe, and other such exotics that aren't even remotely evil, so who knows?

Most exotics contain dark energy, so equipping an unsafe amount could be... Bad.
