With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass.
y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat
Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable.
Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well.
Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains.
Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ
But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years.
Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot.
Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

A little decreased mobility perhaps. Nothing else.
-
Slight armor nerf, but not too much Most complainers that call for complete overhauls r just salty -blam!-s that can't handle a Titan having a powerful super
last part is satire of course
I mained Titan since day one (I played the beta as well, RIP to him😢) and I think there should be a tiny fix to his armor. I've rocketed a Sunbreaker once and he survived but he could of had an overshield so I don't know.

Edited by bnarsty: 10/18/2015 7:28:15 PMLower the damage resistance and max out at 5 hammers in the crucible. Other than that people have an inherent problem with the subclass. Anything else would be excessive
-
Edited by DuelScythe: 10/18/2015 7:26:29 PMNerf to armour when supered. Huge buff to neutral non super game. Currently there is nothing about the sun breaker that sets it apart from any other subclass. It feels like you're still waiting to be fully upgraded. Strikers have stormfist// shoulder charge Defenders have force barrier // suppressor grenades. Sunsingers get over shield on melee. Nightstalkers can have insane enhanced radar... You get the point...currently here is nothing other than hammer of sol to distinguish a sun breaker.
-
Damage resistance and health regen is a little crazy. But I don't think either needs to be changed much. I have been using defender a lot but I use all 3. It's the best of the 3 in Pvp in my opinion.
-
1) Do nothing to Hammer of Sol. 2) Buff other supers accordingly. 3) Reduce super energy gained from killing Guardians in Crucible. Everybody happy?

Titan is a "tank" type character, so now that it has finally fulfilled that role, people want to make it equal. I thought we wanted the choice of character to make a difference? Tanks will be tanks. They are slow, hard to kill, and very destructive. You can kill them, but not if you take one head on. I think it adds to the game, increases the need for strategy, communication, and team work. I like this game BECAUSE it's not another call of duty type pvp, why nerf it till it becomes that?
-
I think the armor while sunbreaker is active needs to be dialed down a few. My titan is 305. And with a little nerf to the armor, I think all the complaints will disappear.
-
Reduction in armor, less splash damage and less time to actually use
-
Edited by T Moneyzz: 10/18/2015 7:06:59 PMarmor nerf slightly
-
Don't nerf the armor. Titans are meant to be tanks. Just make the healing from a kill not start until 2-3 seconds after the kill.
-
At first, I was a titan who thought "OK maybe it's a bit op, maybe it can use a small nerf". But then I leveled my stormcaller to get transcendent and found some machine gloves... and yeah I changed my mind. I think the stormcaller is on the same level, if not better. Hunters just feel shafted, and so here we are. But I am still open for debate, I need more time on my warlock to know for sure.
-
Reduced armor so it cannot survive a high impact sniper shot to the head. Also either reduce time the super is active or the amount of hammers you can throw.
-
I hardly play as my Titan and I don't really see a problem with HoS. Seriously I've been killed by more Sith Lords than SuNbreakers. I think it's fine as is and wish they'd nerf all the whiny shits from being able to come cry on the forums because someone killed them.
-
A little nerf, I usually main a titan and you can look at the stats it has more playtime than my Hunter and Warlock combined now I am fair so I dont use sunbreaker because I know the armor on it is Ridiculous But by my calculations A 15% Armor Nerf would make it have the exact armor as A Radiant Skin Warlock
-
Slight reduction in armour and remove tracking from hammers. Done.
-
The armor is too much.
-
Give it a defender shield... Oh wait Titans already have a class with a shield, guess I'll just stick to that one. So what was a sunbreaker again?
-
Either less reduce, or more delay to "retrieve" hammers
-
Thank you for putting a I don't main titan option. I hate having to vote for these kind of things just to see the results.
-
Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back.
-
Two ideas I've seen that would nerf it while still making it good in PvP and PvE. -decrease armor while super is active so that a high impact sniper can headshot kill. - decrease agility and add a "weight of darkness" like debuff so it can't run across the whole map at top speed. One or the other would work, honestly don't think both should be added.
-
I don't really main any class. Jus switch every few weeks. Been playing my titan for last 2-3 weeks and it is extremely powerful. My k/d in crucible has gone up just on the super kills I get alone. Any1 who is saying its not is in denial. Best way to fix sunbreaker and all supers tbh is to remove the damage reduction/ regeneration and overshield. Been taken down to near death plenty of times only to kill 1 person and be back upto full hp. Don't normally get less than 4 kills each time either.
-
I believe the Damage resistance could be lowered down, not to that of a bladedancer because it's a Titan. We aren't weak little babies.
-
Nerf it in PvP, that's where the salt is. Just please don't touch it in PvE. Maybe a little less armor. Make the high impact snipers rifles a one shot headshot, even with max armor build.
