With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass.
y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat
Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable.
Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well.
Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains.
Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ
But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years.
Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot.
Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

Nothing at all. Because what they nerf in pvp comes over into the pve side effectively making something awesome into sh*t because of crybabies. It's a super, run. Maybe, MAYBE, increase the damage the other classes' supers put out to be able to kill a Sunbreaker Titan. Maybe a class buff would be better than a class nerf. #deej If not, go play call of duty and drink your Mountain Dew. I've Titan smashed nova bombing warlocks where I died and they walked away with half health. In the words of wise men and women: Git gud scrubs. Titans getting all the grills.

Convert the super to be like golden gun. Three hammer throws and then it's over
-
Bring the armor down just a bit. The armor is absolutely nuts on this thing. I should be a Tank. Not Valus Ta'aurc pre HP nerf.
-
I main a warlock and in my opinion the only thing that needs to be adjusted with the Sunbreakers is an armor decrease. As a warlock when I activate and use stormcaller I can easily be killed by many things. I have been headset by a sniper, 2 enemies shooting me at once and I kill one but the other guy kills me, GG one shot kills me and the list goes on and on. The fact is, it's balanced. That's the way every class super should be set up. If you aren't smart when you choose to activate your super or don't know how to use the environment as a cover then you deserve to die. The problem with Sunbreakers is their armor. They just have too much of it. A GG should be able to one shot kill them, a sniper should be able to one shot headshot kill them and if 2-3 players are shooting a Sunbreaker then yes he/she should get 1-2 kills before they die but they shouldn't be able to kill all 3 people (still having all their armor and health STILL) and then move on to more people killing them and when all said and done they killed the entire team. I have, for the most part, stayed out of this argument and haven't cried or complained on the forums but after playing IB yesterday for a few hours, I can see why everyone has been complaining about Sunbreakers.

Don't give a sheet about the armour. Cauterise is just a crazy perk that should never have been in it in the first place. It's hungering blade.... ON CRACK.
-
I can kill one have done many times but Damn it's hard, overshield is far to high when super is active, amount of hammers thrown is ridiculous, they should nerf it to 3 hammers max, golden gun only gets 3 and it's one shot kill, I wouldn't even mind if the hammer blast radius was higher just an overshield and hammer amount nerf,
-
Nothing should be done..it is amazing. Stormcaller coming at you? lol hammer time. Blade dancer, lol hammer time. I literally can run around the map raining death down on all and sundry and laugh maniacally as everyone runs away in terror...good times.
-
I main a Defender. I think just the health regen for grenades and melee. For the super I couldn't care less.
-
I think honestly the whole subclass being based on the super wasnt a good ideal for atleast pvp.
-
I main a hunter and the only thing I believe should be scaled back is the health regeneration after each hammer.
-
Titans are perfect imo. get good and maybe you can kill one.
-
Keep it as is but in super make it so we stay grounded, instead of having cray offensive capabilites coupled with skating (for those of us who can) the amount of shit I evade with that is too damn high.
-
I feel that everyone is freaking out over something whn they dont even understand the mathmatics. The largest complaint i hav heard was that titans deal a lot of damage while having a large damage resistance. SunBreakers get the same buff as bladedancer and stormcaller, but titans have a higher base armor. Lets say that hunters have 1 armor, warlocks 2, and titans 3. And whn u activate ur super it multiplies that armor by 5. You cannit expect a hunter to have the same damage resist as a titan whn supered.
-
I play all 3 titans and I still think it needs a little nerf, just I our armor amount when we are using the super, so we aren't able to survive a GG shot or a high impact sniper head shot, that's all, anything more and titans would go down the drain again
-
Just make the armor the same as all other supers. As a Titan I can say the armor is slightly op. I don't think anything should be changed.
-
Nothing. I spent the first year being vulnerable to long range attacks from warlocks and hunters. Now that I have something that allows me to get a long range kill there's all this complaining. Really!? And don't give me the invulnerable craps, I get killed all the time while using HoS and have killed other titans who had theirs active. Learn to get around it, that's what I did and I sucks at PvP.

Edited by C_Eli_01: 10/17/2015 3:43:40 PMI say just nerf the armor some
-
Give us the option of the health regen perk OR high armor, can't have both. Or just add a cooldown to the regen perk and simultaneously tweak the armor down a bit
-
OOOOOOHH YEEEEEAAAAHH!
-
Nothing. Each class now has a roaming super. Hunters get 3. Hunters get 3 PVP options that are all outstanding. Titans have limited options. Trying playing as a Sunbreaker. It is powerful but not OP. And it is just fun to use.
-
30% of Titans said "nothing. It's fine" lmao. Afraid of having your overpowered super nerfed are we?
-
It should be needed. Just to where it's a one shot to the head with a high impact sniper. That's literally it.
-
The problem isn't so much the super but the perk cauterize and removing it would be a huge nerf to the subclass. Maybe they could adjust it so it fills1/3 of your health immediately. Therefore it keeps health regeneration but not invisible and if 3 people are clumped up when the sun breaker is low, well gg don't clump up when there's supers roaming. Keep the armour the same maybe a Lil higher if they take the 1/3 health regen in consideration.
-
Edited by Swoleminole: 10/17/2015 3:32:03 PMKeep the armor but change the mobility. I only say keep the armor because Titans are suppose to be the "tank" class
-
Leave it alone, its only OP with the right perks equipped, no different than how Bladedancer is OP if you have the right perks equipped.
-
All they need is an armor reduction. Same nerf that bladedancer got back in the golden days
