With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass. [spoiler]y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat[/spoiler] Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable. Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well. Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains. Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years. Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot. Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

  • Nothing. The infinite hammer glitch was fixed. Each hammer throw takes a chunk of your super, and I think a lot of folks don't understand that. What sucks is when people always cry nerf to everything, then it's nerfed into oblivion for us pve players as well. Running undying mind strike with a sunbreaker? Bet you'll wish he or she had more than 3 hammers.

  • I don't see what people are complaining about. Last night whilst playing iron banner I got instant killed in a variety of ways whilst using a Full health Sunbreaker mid super. Got hit from across the map with a rocket, instantly died at full health. Got OHKO's by a gunslinger who wasn't wearing Celestial. Got -blam!-ing instant stabbed to death by some Hunter. And all the while I got maybe three, four kills over a few hours while using it. Hell I [u]was[/u] even using tracking on the hammers. Its honestly balanced from what I can see, and I've had a Titan as my main since Day one.

    Warlock main.. Just reduce armor like they did to the ram, or reduce longevity of super.. I dont know.. One cannot go toe to toe with a sunbreaker, and thats the only super i can say that about

  • To be honest make them a little slower in the super that's it. If Bungie was going to do something more extensive though they should nerf the amount of hammers you can throw. However they would also have to buff the damage to make up the difference. That way pve is almost completely unaffected by the nerf where as the super will be a little more balanced for the crucible.

  • Make having the armor a perk that replaces the health regen so u can't have both also make it so that u have 4 hammers with a cool down like golden gun I mean come on it's not rocket science bungie

  • Nerf the armour. Every time I ask this question it gets ignored. 5TH TIME NOW EVERYONE!! Question: Why can a Sunbreaker Titan withstand more damage than my Titan Defender with armour of light when I'm standing in my bubble unable to go in the offensive?? How is it fair Sunbreaker gets the same defence? Please answer me this, because it doesn't seem defendable to me.

    • I think the need an overhaul... In the buff department. They should make the hammer explosions spit out year two gjallahorns which empty their ammo in half a second, and have increased Wolfpack rounds. Then the hammers should have instant travel time and 100 aim assist and tracking. That's the only way to balance them... [spoiler]lol jk[/spoiler]

    • Sunbreaker is sorta like a paladin. Just a tank that heals itself. Completely fair IMO.

      • I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with the Titan's Hammer of Sol. I get killed or knocked out of my super 50% of the time. It is literally the same as having a noob tube in Call of Duty. Sure, it sucks to play control and get the hammer while taking a position but thats what it was designed for. If you must nerf it in someway, attack the health regain during the special.

        • Make it so they don't have such a strong damage resistance. Make snipers like 1000 yard stare be able to kill them with 1 crit

            Two things. Slow moment speed by 25% to give ppl a change to escape. Tighten up the aoe on the hammer a little bit to make it more skillful to land those kills.

          • Not a main Titan anymore but I have all 3 classes with all subclasses , and sunbreaker is very balanced... For the most part, if either remove the over shield or remove damage resistance just because it's almost impossible to kill

          • I main a titan. I kill Sunbreakers all the time. I get killed all the time when I use it. It's fine as is. Nerfing it will ruin it in PvE. PvPer's are crying because they aren't used to Titans being formidable. Is it an "easymode"? Yes, in a way it is. What it is not however is overpowered. The good players find a way to shut them down. The ones who think they're good come here to cry to Bungie to kiss their booboo's and make the hurt stop.

            • Cauterize should be on a cooldown like 5 seconds, Gg needs a buff in crucible at least (i get if they dont want some nighthawk nuke strats)

              • Shorter duration. There's matches where there are multiple SBs on a team and the supers just roll into each other till the end of a match after the first one because of the kill potential plus how long it lasts. And thats with health regen on kills. Im ok with it having armor or whatever, but it needs to be shorter.

                • Nothing. Remove chest armor gives extra armor while using a solar based subclasses from pvp. Then all your op hammer of sol stories go away.
