Dear Comrades in Destiny,
I very much agree that the built-in aim assist is too active, and often interferes with shot selection.
This is especially noticeable when trying to kill a priority target mixed in a clump of targets which are all in motion.
Other players have commented that aim assist messes up their shot selection in PvP play as well as PvE.
The tracker will try to follow and actually pulls the scope in the direction of a target which may have crossed in front of the priority target.
Whether the priority target is a Fallen Captain, Armored Enemy, Praetorian, Cabal Chain Gunner, or enemy player in Crucible, we've all experienced the aiming system "pulling" away from our desired target. This is frustrating.
Hello BUNGIE, your community is asking for an option to turn Auto-Aim OFF !
Most experienced players don't need the overpowered help being provided. We aren't yet senile, blind, or have lost motor control.
If you agree that the Aim Assist is a problem and needs an "OFF" Option, please respond to this poll.

Edited by Lyberatis: 10/17/2015 7:55:53 AMI'm sniping a guy. A random rere flailing his arms around runs behind the guy I'm trying to snipe. My aim assist goes, "OOOOH GET THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!1!1!1!111" and drags my aim off my target; the one that's shooting at me. And I die. Cmon Bungie, you made such a huge stride with Destiny being your first game with a game-sound audio slider. Please let me turn off Aim-inhibitor.
