Before we had the story of Destiny that we had today, there was a different, darker lore our universe had. Our beloved Traveler actually brought the Darkness with him, the Speaker and Vanguard knew this, but did not tell their fledgling Guardians, on a mission in Old Russia, you meet The Crow, Prince Uldren, he tells you the truth about the Traveler and you go Rogue against the Vanguard to save the people of the City. At the Reef, you meet all Five Factions, New Monarchy, FWC, Dead Orbit (a major benefactor to the Reef's survival), Osiris (led by the exiled Osiris himself, an enemy to all allies of the Darkness especially Oryx). Lastly presented is the Seven Seraphs, a group known to search for the Seven Warminds, in a daring cause to revive them to put an end to the Darkness by combining the Warminds' powers.
