Ya, but if you use six 3-of-coins, equip an exotic sword, and do the Carlton Dance for Xur, there is a 0.00006% chance that you will get something worthwhile that was manufactured by the Easter Bunny and delivered to you personally by Santa Clause! NOT CONFIRMED: Wearing a Jack-o-Lantern head while doing the Carlton for Xur is rumored to double the likelihood of getting something useful to 0.0012%!!! Don't worry, you will be able to buy them with silver light just in time for Halloween!

Yeah, but some of them are available as year 2 weapons and then you can buy the year 2 version with marks. Its how I got Thunderlord.

3 RepliesI deliberately bought a legacy today as figure that it was worth getting a blue print for year 2 exotic weapons. I know there's a chance you'll get a year 1 only but it worked out and I've now got a year 2 Thunderlord :)

Now there are reasons to buy some. Ok really 2 1. Collectors 2. Get a year 1 to unlock blue prints to year 2 I bought a heavy got truth. When I get enough marks I can now get a year 2

2 RepliesLegacy engrams are so stupid. I Spent hours trying to get all year one exotics during year 1 and now anyone can buy exotic engrams and gain any they missed. I should of just not played at all and acquired them threw engrams now. I even took the time to max them all for nothing since we cant even use them.
