Actually there's a huge difference. If someone lacked the common sense, they'd think you were referring to people who were native to India. Preference < Fact

Edit: Upon further thinking only an idiot would think of Indians from India instead of Indians from America if I mentioned the Revolutionary War. Let me change that back real quick.

At least only have Indians instead of Native Indians. That just makes it confusing.
