So. The community is going ham. Everything is mixed. Personally, I feel lost.
But private communities are still going strong. And I would like to welcome you newer folks into the fold of a private group over five years old, older than most of you have been on Bnet! This group has been my Internet home base for years. And with how big the forum seems now, I think it's important to have a regular group of people that you can talk about things with.
So I take this opportunity to invite everybody to join Owners of the Katana, my Bnet and Bnext home, for the sake of those of us transferring over from Bnet to have a place where we don't need to be afraid. We don't 'recruit' much. Or at all until now. But yeah.
If it interests you, we are the largest closed membership group on Bnet (meaning every member that has joined has been accepted, we don't count groups that had open membership THEN closed!), were the last group of people to ever have Halo 3's Bungie Favorites, and are ready for what's coming next for this community.
No Private Message spam. No 'this is the group for you OH YEAH' rhetoric. All I want to say is that this is my home and this group means a lot to me, and I'd like to extend that same feeling to those of you that may be interested. I can't promise any/all of you will like this group. But what I can do is promise that I try to make everybody feel welcome, and can guarantee a place to chill in the midst of all this chaos. Groups may seem more public now, but that doesn't make them any less important in my mind. Thank you.

I was a member up until the arrival of Bungie.next. I was well over my 10 groups, so I had to pick and choose where I needed to stay.
