"Train!" Osiris shouted, then jumped out of the way of the oncoming train. He turned around and leapt out of the way again as another train barreled in the opposite direction. "Why the hell are the trains working?"
"I don't know!" Ghost shouted over the receding sound of the train. "Charging the tracks might have restarted the train, or maybe Rasputin has control over the trains."
"Doesn't matter!" Osiris shouted. He turned so that he was facing opposite the direction of where he was heading.
"What are we doing?" Ghost asked watching as the tracks began to shake and the glint of head lights shone in the distance.
"Catching a ride!" Osiris shouted. As the train barreled towards him, he spun his staff and hooked it onto the side of the train and swung up onto the roof. The train sped onwards, hurtling towards it's destination.

As the train sped forward, it passed through a hub of inter-connecting tunnels.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw a network of Vex gates, confluxes and a batallion of vex units. As well as a barrage of Void energy blasts heading straight for the train!
He leapt off of the train the instant the blasts impacted, tumbling to the ground as the train flew off his track and into the wall.
He rose to his feet and stared at the Vex army standing in front of him. Hovering at the back, near one of the larger gates was an Axis Hydra. His helmet readout identified it as Vekron; the Conductive Mind.
"That's what i'm looking for." Osiris thought aloud. Unfortunately the other Vex wouldn't let him get close enough. He sighed. "Oh well, time to fight."
He entered into a Stormtrance. He unleashed bolts of lightning from his fingertips that surged into the frames of the Vex, leaping from unit to unit, destroying Goblins, Harpies, and Hobgoblins alike.
A few of the minotaurs survived the initial assault due to their void shield generators suppresing the arc energy. One of them charged at Osiris, attempting to smash him with its Torch hammer. Osiris dodged with ease, propelling himself into the air with an ionic blink. As he glided above them, he unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning into the ground, desintigrating them.
As he floated to the ground, he turned his attention to Vekron. The Conductive Mind would not sit idle, and began unleashing blasts of Arc energy in his direction. Osiris wielded his staff, absorbing the energy of the blasts and redirecting it back towards the Conductive Mind.
But how to charge the Conductive Mind? How to store the Arc energy in its systems without giving it the advantage? Osiris was reminded of the Warlock Vanguard, Ikora Rey, who had created an expirement to focus the energy of Voidwalkers and create a rift which could be ignited by a spark of light. Osiris applied that experiment.
He generated an enormous globe of arc energy in his hands. He sprinted towards the Conductive Mind, visualizing it's core as a rift. He timed his sprint so that it's shield was not an obstruction. He planted his feet on its chassis and knocked it off balance. He turned so that he could face the Mind's core and slammed the globe of arc energy into it, creating a powerful explosion.
The Conductive Mind writhed with energy, temporarily disabled as it adjusted to the charge. "We need to shut down the gates!" Ghost cried out. "If it disappears into the Black Garden with that charge this would all be for nothing!"
Osiris nodded and sent a surge of energy through one of the confluxes. The smaller gates shut down immediately and the larger gate began to slowly diappear. "Come on!" he shouted to Ghost as the Conductive Mind started to come to its senses.
He reached the gate and turned around as the Conductive Mind hurtled towards him. "Keep it safe." he smiled and stepped backwards into the gate a second before it closed.
He turned around and his eyes scanned the Black Garden. "Guess we're stuck here." he remarked.
"Time to go to work."
