That sucks. I'd recommend upgrading to the Xbox One anyways. The graphics are way better in Destiny and everything loads way way faster, especially the gear menu. Plus if there's a connection issue, it either reconnects you or puts you back in to orbit instead of kicking you to the title screen and making you restart your console.

i plan on upgrading, but not for Destiny. Fallout 4 man... anyway, ive bee against upgrading considering the restrictions of the Xbox One, always has to be online, HAVE to do install for all games, didn't have backwards compatibility( they are working on it, yes, but i doubt all my games are backwards compatible atm). Not to mention the atrocious amount of time it will take to download Destiny and its numerous updates and DLCs. They do the same thing for connection issues on 360, had a zoo of baboons before my xbox basically croaked, graphics are eh, never really cared about that. Load times though, no doubt about that being better.

It doesn't always have to be online, they took that requirement away before the console almost came out. Games do have to be installed, but only partially if you didn't purchase it digitally. The downloads do take a while, but you can set it to download while its off and it can still download while you're playing other games, even if the games are online. I bought it for Halo Master Chief Collection, specifically the Halo 2 Anniversary. I've been really happy with it. Plus there's good F2P content like Warframe and Neverwinter, and now the Project Spark is completely free, its even better. There's a lot of other cool features too. They're coming out with a DVR for tv shows as well, so you can save money by not needing to pay for TiVo or TWC's DVR. I would save up and wait for black Friday deals.
