i see where you are coming from, but id like to just add this; If all gear was infusable, we'd still have to grind through the raid and exotics to get gear up to the max. Its not like year 1 gear would obliterate year 2 gear - a great deal of its pretty good, what with there being new perks like you said.Id say more than anything, its the armor people want back. The sets looked nice, and they surely wouldnt break the game. I still have my raid sets in my vault, on the slim chance i can equip it one day for Future raids. Since the next DLC is likely Vex based, id love to go in donned in gear crafted from their kind from VoG, or go take out Oryx wearing the CE set.

I'm not saying I agree with it. I think being able to infuse all gear would be great. It would make me want to go back and play the old raids and the Prison on Elders. Plus you have more options when it came to armor, so you can make your guardian look more unique and exactly how you want. That's one of the things that kept me playing after I did all the missions in the second expansion. I bet once everyone has fear they're happy with and is tired of TKK, they'll add it in so that people will go back and play the old activities again. Its all about giving the players incentives to grind for gear.

im not saying you agree with it either, i just thought id throw out my 2 cents on infusion. I hope they dont just use it as a way to bait us back in when we get bored of what they've got, id love to go back and play year 1's endgame content too (now rather than later).... but not but yesterday my 360 decided to refuse to read disks anymore T.T and i mean ALL disks, not just destiny. Good ones, bad ones, movies, nothing.

That sucks. I'd recommend upgrading to the Xbox One anyways. The graphics are way better in Destiny and everything loads way way faster, especially the gear menu. Plus if there's a connection issue, it either reconnects you or puts you back in to orbit instead of kicking you to the title screen and making you restart your console.

i plan on upgrading, but not for Destiny. Fallout 4 man... anyway, ive bee against upgrading considering the restrictions of the Xbox One, always has to be online, HAVE to do install for all games, didn't have backwards compatibility( they are working on it, yes, but i doubt all my games are backwards compatible atm). Not to mention the atrocious amount of time it will take to download Destiny and its numerous updates and DLCs. They do the same thing for connection issues on 360, had a zoo of baboons before my xbox basically croaked, graphics are eh, never really cared about that. Load times though, no doubt about that being better.

It doesn't always have to be online, they took that requirement away before the console almost came out. Games do have to be installed, but only partially if you didn't purchase it digitally. The downloads do take a while, but you can set it to download while its off and it can still download while you're playing other games, even if the games are online. I bought it for Halo Master Chief Collection, specifically the Halo 2 Anniversary. I've been really happy with it. Plus there's good F2P content like Warframe and Neverwinter, and now the Project Spark is completely free, its even better. There's a lot of other cool features too. They're coming out with a DVR for tv shows as well, so you can save money by not needing to pay for TiVo or TWC's DVR. I would save up and wait for black Friday deals.
