It's outdated because the technology has become a lot more dangerous and there is a lot more people in the world with the ability to abuse this. By reducing the amount of guns in homes you reduce medical expenses and suicides, it's a fact.

The second amendment is the right to bear arms, not muskets. It's not outdated and never will be.
-
I never said anything about muskets. Yes it's meant for all weapons, but I think there needs to be more regulation and background checks before some dude at a Walmart hands over to you a 9mm.
-
More strict background checks, yes. But there's a fine line between proper screening and impossible bureaucratic red tape.
-
That's what I'm saying bro. You can own a gun if you so please, but it shouldn't be as accessible.
-
Ugh just shut up lol. People don't understand how gun control works. Yea they should do mental checks on people, yes you shouldn't be able to buy full auto assault rifles. But people should be able to own as many guns as they want. And here is something crazy. If they kill someone they are held responsible. FFS please just shut up.
-
I think only 2 murders in 80 years with legally aquired NFA firearms isn't what people should worry about.
-
Yeah exactly. Don't tell me to shut up, it just makes you sound stupid.
-
Well your argument is fairly ignorant and it's frustrating. Peace
-
Tell me why I'm wrong?
-
Tell me how gun regulation will help? Is commuting a crime by illegally obtaining a weapon, on your way to commit a crime going to deter you? It's just a stupid argument. People who set out to go down in a blaze of glory are not going to give two shits about breaking a law. Majority of the people that are involved in school shootings or any form of mass shooting do not intend to make it out alive.

Where did I say it was meant for muskets only?
-
That is your whole premise Don't try and get fancy with me.
-
I said the premise is outdated because technology has gone so far. Not that it was designed for muskets. There is no grey area. The ammendment allows us to own weapons freely. Something I don't agree with because the increased amount of fire arms deaths (purposeful and accidental), the increase in crime, and the increase in suicides.

You really have zero insight on this issue just feelings. Look at places like Detroit with the strictest gun laws and the highest rate of violence This is just one small example. If you can't realize this then your like someone constantly spitting in your own eye and I can't help you. Seems fact trump your logic.
