Black spindle nerf = pointless
Ok first off let me state that this was childish and pointless.
By the time the nerf came about people had completed the raid multiple times and collected 305-310 weapons.
Now my spindle is 307 anyway. Good one bungie. You pissed off 99% of your community just to lose 5-10 or so damage points?
It's almost childish. Why should your fan base be punished by your mistakes. It's made worse by the fact so any people have raid weapons and would just simply make it 300+ again anyway?
Before you say the "nerf was planned moons ago" it was. But by the time it rolled around, everyone already had new 305+ weapons anyway?

Edited by Kone19ps: 10/15/2015 4:38:58 PMThe point was to remove a 300 weapon from the blueprints. All other changes are collateral damage due to every iteration of the weapon being linked. Blueprint drops and inventory.

2 RepliesIt is pointless to retroactively nerf ALL Black Spindles. While many people made the mistake of infusing a bought BS, many others saw through Deej's cryptograph, and used that 310 to infuse a different secondary weapon. So I was completely unaffected by this nerf, but only because I chose to consume my 310 BS and give to my DO fusion rifle. When I need my BS back to 310, I have plenty of 310 4th horsemans to get it there with. Pointless nerf. They should have just nerfed future drops and the store atk power. All they did was piss on everyone who did the hardest quest in the game. Some reward.

Yeah seriously not to mention that the encounter is harder than the -blam!-ing raid or getting an exotic sword or the final quest for the touch of malice. There was also a petition here signed by hundreds and hundreds of people saying to leave it alone. It's just petty spiteful bullshit wasting of people's time on Bungie's part.

Also when your light level is 300+ exotics drop at 310. Is that a mistake too will my 310 exotics get nerfed as well? The black spindle quest is now pointless it's not worth it.

1 ReplyAgreed. Why even make the weapon to begin with? The weapon's existence alone just pisses all over the whole "Year 1 Legendaries stay behind in Year 1". Let's nerf Black Hammer, then tell the players to leave it behind in Year 1, then let's make a year 2 version of it, but wait, let's nerf that too. Asinine.
