Just got mine this past weekend. Dropped off of an echo of Oryx. Mission was the daily heroic Cayde's Stash. Had one 3 of coins active. Very nice. I was using the Vanguard auto before this and I notice several differences. The VG auto had more impact, so I notice enemies dropping sooner. The stability is better, but if you give the supercell the high end stability option the two are roughly the same. The supercells ability to connect lightning between enemies is nice. If clearing mobs that are close together it is handy. I prefer the higher impact of the VG auto, but when the lightning begins connecting you can save ammo. What is nice about the lightning on bosses is the same idea of mob control. Most mobs swarm to get by the boss, happens a lot on patrols during taken events. Shoot the boss and the lightning will jump to it's mobs and clear them out. Another item for PvE I noticed is against Knights and Phalanx. Even though the shields block the damage from both the bullets and lightning, the lightning still jumps around. Haven't used it in PvP yet, but I'm guess in controls or if the players are close by, the gun will work great, if not I hear there are better weapons. Only real cons that sticks out in my head are low impact, lower than most, and with the rate of fire it seems easy to just spend ammo like crazy. In boss fights it can be easy to spend all of your ammo and have to switch to a special or heavy until you replenish. All in All I enjoy it, just gotta get better at precision shots to save ammo.

Just got my supercell over the weekend, I know there are better autos for the crucible, but I am in love.
