Most men who take gaming seriously have already been emasculated by society and gaming was a way for them to escape reality and feel superior... And when girls come along and prove that gaming is gender neutral, it takes away their superior feeling

I can't even name the guys that's how much I care! And the ratio to guys/ladies is still heavily male dominated. If a girl invests as much time as a boy on a video game, the results are the same
