Thoughts on IB being rift next time round?.
So yeah, alot of people are annoyed by iron banner always being control.
Personally, i love control, but i know a lot of people dont.
Now, I'm assuming the whole idea behind it being control was to test both combat skill, and tactical skills; how well we can defend zones and push the enemy back, n blah blah.
Now, control was the only 6v6 objective game mode, up till rift came out.
Now, rift can be considered tactical; hold the spark area till it spawns, defend the runner as s/he pushes foward, choose the route with least resistance, and hold your goal when the enemy team gets the spark.
In a way, it could be along the same lines as control, testing both tactical skills (less so than control) and combat capabilities.
Now I'm not a fan of rift, if this was a thing, i wouldn't participate in that iron banner lol
But I'm more curious as to what the rest of you- or at least, those who stopped by- think of this.

If that becomes a game mode for ib you will definitely gonna need to be in a team of 6 if you plan on winning lol

Rift would be a welcome change, a week worth of Control is just boring as shit. We are 24 hours into Iron Banner and I am bored of it already, a rotating daily game type for Iron Banner would be better but then that would actually take some thought and effort on Bungie's behalf.

Im seriously getting tired of it being control. I really hoped it would be a different gamemode to kick off year 2 but i was sorely mistaken. I hope they switch it up once in a while

I think iron banner should be a choice of all the 6v6 game modes. Then you could complete more bounties and there'd be more variety

2 RepliesI hate control. I think it's stupid. I hate it in all multiplayer though regardless of the FPS. I really like rift and just team deathmatch. I wish it just rotated to keep it fresh.
