This is still the [i]same game[/i]. "Year 2" doesn't mean [i]shit[/i], because YEAR 1 AND YEAR 2 ARE ARBITRARY DIVISIONS OF TIME.
What I am saying is that there is no reason that Year 1 [i]needs[/i] to get left behind.

Actually it means exactly what is being stated. Year 1= Year 1 gear. Year 2 = Year 2 gear. Yes some Year 1 gear came into Year 2 that Bungie thought would fit well with the Year 2 model. Yes I agree with the stance that a new year should primarily mean new gear. New weapons, new armor, new everything - which is what happened. Kiss your Year 1 gear bye bye. But I'm sure you will hang on to it for the next 8 years bitching about your lack of vault space
