Hey Bungie, I tweeted a couple of things at y'all back in September but I don't think y'all got my messages and that's OK. I just have something to share with you guys...
It was really something that was hard for me to say and do....But my girlfriend helped support me to do it, to tweet you guys more story!
I am a Survivor of Suicidal Depression!
This statement is really hard for me to say. But as a survivor it now empowers me to live on, and to help those who struggle with their own depression!
I understand that Bungie is a huge big time video game company, but I was hoping that you would take the time to read this, and if not that's OK! I still love you guys!
Below are the tweets I tweeted at you guys @Bungie and I will link my Twitter account to this post.
@Bungie I just wanted to say thank you.My name is Aaron Robertson and I'm a survivor. I have #MDD and playing destiny really helped me through it all
@Bungie Because of Destiny I fought my way through my darkest hours. To live on for my friends and family and to be better!
@Bungie Depression and suicide is a really serious thing! And to help treat this I played destiny..and it helped a lot!
@Bungie from playing with friends and others in the community who helped me be a better person.. I just wanted to so thank you!
@Bungie Because of Destiny i am a stronger and better person than I was. I fight the darkness like I fight my depression. With my loved ones
