THIS JUST IN OP: They released the Grimoire card for Touch of malice.
What do you make of it. Is Eris turning evil or being taken over by some Hive God?

Edited by EpitomeofLowQuality: 10/13/2015 10:10:20 PMI think Eris is struggling with her inner demons more than anything. The way I understood the Grimoire card is that she is beginning to feel pity for the Hive. Near the end of the card, she says this:
The voices are as loud as ever. My nightmares just as bitter. My coal-black hatred burns as hot. But I feel something else now. Could it be...
The thing that she is beginning to feel is clearly juxtaposed against her other mentioned feelings, and we know that Eris has read deeply into the past that the siblings went down. She also dismisses this feeling as soon as she begins to think it, which falls in perfectly with her role as a foil of Toland. Toland supposedly fell into madness because of his obsession with the Hive, and Eris hates what happened to him. If she is starting to see the same traits in herself, she would react in the manner above.
Now some of that is speculation, so take it with a grain of salt.
However, this does confirm that the Calcified Fragments are actually Worms that have been calcified. Thanks for the heads up!

I think she was about to feel pity, but decided to push that feeling down in favor of a weapon that will kill Oryx. She knows that the presence of pity will only weaken her and her cause. Oryx knows it too.
