In light of yesterday's weekly update, I want to beseech Bungie to not give in to the squeaky wheel. While it can be frustrating to miss an event that many didn't even know about, the thrill of getting in on something special, or being the first to discover a secret, or working as a community to put pieces of a puzzle together are what keeps the most "hardcore", loyal, vocal player base around.

DeeJ, I heard you. We heard you. I would hate to see Bungie follow in the footsteps of so many games before. So many great MMOs (even if Destiny "isn't an MMO") have fallen because of this. Star Wars Galaxies making it easy to become a Jedi, World of Warcraft making it easier to get unique items and allowing smaller raids on major content. You might keep a few more players around, but those of us who love Destiny (and Bungie) will be all the sadder if we lose these gems.

I actually thought I might get some agreement on this one... sad. lol
