I've noticed this as well. I've heard it's also not the first time Bungie has drawn such similarities between their games and Christianity. Also, if you follow certain Bungie employees on twitter you can sometimes see a religious side to them.

I don't love people solely off their religious views but I can appreciate the likeness. I'm sure not every Bungie employee is Christian either.

But most are so that's good enough for me. And people Thea are Christian are usually good people
