Nothing true or confirmed here. The Alpha Lupi grimoire tells us the Traveller decided stay and fight with us, Earth was going to be where she would hold her final stand. Thinking we needed the Traveller, Rasputin crippled her so she wouldn't leave, to give us hope and something to strive towards i.e repairing her and reclaiming our golden age.
