The biggest similarity is that they're both works of fiction fabricated out of nothing by human beings to extract money out of other human beings. The only difference is that one is designed to provide a source of entertainment, the other subversively spreads fear and self loathing, causes war and gives people an excuse to worship a magic man in the sky who doesn't exist.

Damn, I didn't realize Destiny actually wanted me to worship the traveller. The other is quite entertaining though, especially when they got all "experimental" with "Revelations".
