Think about it from our perspective. Imagine a group of people that believe 1+1=3. Like genuinely believe it. Now imagine that they're teaching their children this. That's infuriating even when we aren't factoring in how much of a negative effect religion has on the world. I'm sure you're genuine in your belief, but I'd suggesting you read your holy book and think about how much of it is impossible and how much of it is immoral.

  • I've read The Bible, and what people don't get is that the rules from the old testament simply don't apply any more, though they use it in their arguments. When Jesus died on the cross, and the temple curtain was torn in two, Jesus made the way to God without the need for all the ridiculous rules from the old testament, so yes some of the stuff in the Old Testament does seem immoral, but it doesn't apply any more. Also 1+1=3 is more obviously incorrect than a religion. I get how some of it seems impossible like the creation story to people who don't believe it, but to me it is more impossible that it happened without a creator.
